Although I'm not a foodie in any sense of the word (apart from liking to eat), I do try out local specialities from time to time, if they're not too exotic for my taste buds. While we were touring through Mpumalanga's beautiful Panaroma region, we happened to pass through Graskop during lunch time one day. Now I've heard tell that this tiny little tourist town is considered South Africa's pancake capital, so I didn't need a lot of convincing to stop at a restaurant called Harrieās Pancakes to try them out. All I can say is: delicious! If you are ever in the region, do make a point of treating yourself to one of their tasty pancakes.
